 Don't wait any longer to transfer those old 8mm / Super 8mm films to
 DVD. Through the years they can become moldy or a film virus will
 make them unviewable.

 We can make the memories come alive again from your old "home
 movies". Relive the times past by watching your family and loved ones.  
 Have a good laugh watching your older / younger siblings doing their
 typical child like actions.

 At Memory Lane Productions we digitally transfer your "Home Movie Films" 
 to DVD, VHS, VCD, CD, Mini DV or SVHS. We also have the capability to
 transfer them to the PAL format for you to send overseas. Each project is
 customized to your request. A digital video master is what we use to make
 the copy / copies so that no quality is lost in the process.

 You have the option, at an additional fee, to add a music background to the
 finished project. (It does add a nice touch.)

 Due to the fact that these films are at least 35 - 40 years old they have the
 tendency to break in the transfer process. We will cut and splice them (if
 necessary) free of charge. Some color correction is made in the digital  
 transfer process.

 Included with the transfers is one opening title and one closing title. The
                      titles are customized just for you! You have the option of having them                                transferred to DVD or VHS. 

 We return to you all of your film when we are finished.

 To help you calculate the amount of 8mm / Super 8mm film you have, the reels are as follows: 
 
            Measure across the top of reel.

          Our fees to transfer film is 10 cents a foot.   As an example;
               
                   50 foot reel = $5.00  -----  200 foot reel = $20.00

We have NOT raised our prices for this service in over 15 years!

 To add a music background to the finished product is an additional $25.00
 per every two hours or less.  

 Extra copies are available too. We discount volume orders of seven or more!

 Are you ready to find your old films?
Here are some helpful tips to get you going.
 

 The films will be transferred in the order that you tell us to. Put a number on
 each reel 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. (most of the films came in a box - put the number on
 the outside of the box - if no box then you can write on the plastic reel 
 or tape a number to the reel). Reels that do not have a number on them
 will be transferred randomly. Memory Lane Productions will not be
 responsible for the sorting of the film by time era or the like.

 We will cut and splice them (if necessary) free of charge. All lead footage and
 blank footage will be edited out during the transfer process. Minor repairs of
 the films is included in our transfer fee but NOT major editing. The transfer
 process does not damage the film. Sometimes the films break from being so
 old and brittle, but again we will splice them back together at no additional
 fee.
